“To us, a project is wholly/ truly complete only if the walls speak the language of the clients” Founded in 2019, Studio Rare is a full-service design firm headed by two Mumbai residents, Devanshi Ketan Rathod and Rishikesh Sushil Rane. We are the right mix of Aesthetic + Technicality and that helps to bring out the best of us in our work. From the onset to the completion, we design the spaces with great zeal and sensitivity while ‘Detail’ remains the unifying thread that runs across all our projects. We love making the spaces multi-utilitarian while maintaining a delicate balance between vintage and contemporary, raw and complete, monochrome and colorful, that seamlessly blend to form a timeless design. We believe in working closely with our clients to be able to reflect a part of them in their spaces. This guides us to design unique experiences over and over again. The studio is currently engaged in Architectural Design, Interior Design and Styling, and Furniture design but hey, that’s not all. Name Our studio was founded on one central pillar, the unique client experiences through the design process and hence, the name Studio Rare. Devanshi Ketan Rathod Co-Founder and Creative Head of Studio Rare, Devanshi graduated from the prestigious Rachna Sansad School of Design, Mumbai in 2013 and has been practicing since. She has worked with some of the renowned firms; HVS Architects (2013-16), Premnath and Associates (2016-17), and Studio Design Inc. (2017-20) in Mumbai, before starting Studio Rare. She specializes in Luxury Residential, Commercial, and public space interior design. In architectural design, façade designing for bungalows is her forte. On a personal note, she is always looking for design inspiration on the go and a great furniture detail or an aesthetically welcoming flooring is all she needs for a good orgasm! Rishikesh Sushil Rane An Aesthete by heart, Rishikesh is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating head of Studio Rare. He also completed his education in Interior Design from Rachna Sansad School of Design, Mumbai, and went on to get 6 years of hands-on experience while working with Verve Architects, PWD Raipur and Premnath and Associates in Mumbai. A maximalist approach to a minimal space is the key aspect of his design. He loves to photograph in his leisure time while material exploration and innovation with technology are integral parts of his design process.
