Monica Khanna has an extensive portfolio of a variety of projects and is the only designer in the country to have designed two luxury trains. Her design firm in New Delhi works on Architectural and Interior projects. Monica Khanna is a trained interior designer and her studio, ‘Monica Khanna Designs’, is supported by a team of interior designers, architects and specialized consultants in a wide range of projects including hotels, resorts, luxury farm houses, spas, high end apartments etc. Hers is a technically skilled, research oriented, and highly detailed design firm. As a designer, Monica focuses her work around two key concepts; Timelessness and Sustainability. To her, timelessness is embodied in her mediums and shapes. To Monica, a timeless design is also sustainable, which can be seen in the green systems she incorporates into her projects. These can include systems like water reclamation, recycling and restoration, and renewable energy. Good design need not be expensive or dependent on branding but should rely on how it is conceptualized and put together.
