Deep tech startup Awiros has raised $7 million in a Series A round led by Inflexor Ventures and Exfinity Venture Partners. The round saw participation from VedaVC, leading family offices and UHNIs.

With this funding, the startup plans to strengthen growth and accelerate global expansion. Even Awiros aims to utilise the funding towards product enhancement and driving business growth in overseas markets.Awiros was founded in 2015 by Vikram Gupta and Yatin Kavishwar, the startup develops an AI-based computer-vision platform for video processing by offering Video AI “Apps” for customers to discover and adopt suitable technology solutions.

The CEO and co-founder of the startup said, “Awiros is one of the fastest growing companies in the Video AI space in India and this funding round will help us grow globally by increasing market share, streamlining technical operations and investing in the R&D of existing and new product categories.

As a result of onboarding investors from Inflexor and Exfinity, the startup will benefit from their high level of expertise in technology, international business, and scalable global marketing.”

By 2030, it is estimated that the market for Video AI solutions will reach $27 billion, with several enterprises actively deploying these solutions within automation, safety, and process monitoring.

As one of the leading tech companies in India, Awiros is accelerating the adoption of this technology, with customers subscribing to more than ten apps today, up from four in 2019.

Its clients include several Fortune 500 companies, as well as large-scale deployments of Video AI in manufacturing, data centres, critical infrastructure, and public safety.
